Stormwater Management Program

Beginning in 2007, Western Washington University, in concert with the Washington State Department of Ecology, implemented a Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) with the expressed purpose of reducing the discharge of pollutants from Western’s stormwater system to the maximum extent practicable and to protect the water quality of out-flowing waterways.
